Associate Director, Global Exchange Indices, S&P Dow Jones Indices
Eduardo Olazabal is Associate Director, Global Exchange Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) in the Product Management group. Eduardo is a product manager for S&P DJI’s exchange partnership indices, including the S&P/ASX, S&P/TSX and S&P/BMV series.
Eduardo’s experience extends to designing, analyzing and promoting a wide range of indices. He has also worked closely with other product managers to regularly publish research and analytical reports on a variety of investment topics, including global equities, global REITs and Islamic finance. Eduardo previously worked for MSCI in the Product Management Group, where he focused on the product strategy for factor indices and equity models. He also was tasked with helping to create the market intelligence function, which provides insights and recommendations to support product managers and senior management on strategy based on market data analysis and reporting.
Eduardo attended the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), where he graduated with distinction with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. He also has master’s degree in business management from the same institution and an MBA from IPADE Business School.
